At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost five theatre contracts. I didn’t think I would get to work on another musical in 2020. Then my dear friend, Jennifer Hunter, Director and Professor of Theatre at University of Northwestern St. Paul asked if I wanted to attempt choreographing a musical over zoom. We jumped into the process and I cannot thank all of the students, my dance captains Grace Klapak and Siri Monroy and my assistants Jillian Ehlke and Tommy McCarthy for going along for the ride. It was an absolute joy to work on this beautiful show and I can’t wait until our theatre doors open once more.
